Adam's Revenge
I have recently said that I didn't like any new bands coming out. Well, first Buckcherry disproved me and now I stumble across this other band that's really cool. I'd like to point you out to their official site: www.adamsrevenge.com. Go ahead and take a peek. It's still getting up and going, but revisit soon and I'm sure there will be updates.
The band's been around since 1997. They have a little sampler aptly titled The Appetizer, and they have a self-title CD available now
Adam's Revenge is:
Jay Gutholm - guitars
Eric Vancil - 4, 6-string, and fretless basses & background vocals
Cab - drums & percussion
G. - lead vocals
Adam's Revenge can be contacted at:

They have a new CD out - Adam's Revenge. You can order it, too. Just head to the official site for ordering info.
I have received this wonderful CD. 8 songs of terrific classic metal. The music is reminiscent of Iron Maiden with a Mark Slaughter sound alike on vocals. What a mix!! The intro you to their sound with an instrumental - The Beginning of the End - before knocking you over with the first sound of their new singer. Call of the Tribe really shows the strength of G's vocals. This guy can SING!! He's got one set of pipes!! And Eric showcases his as backup in Please Baby, Please, arguably one of the best on the album. It's the chorus that pulls you in. Flies in the Sky and In the Night complete the four songs written by G. Both will catch your attention right away for their vocal work and excellent guitar skills. Run and Swimming Upstream were Cab's contribution to the album. Swimming is very probably my favorite track. Although simplified it's the "revenge for someone who left you" song. It got me hooked with the lyric "Why can't I ever keep you satisfied?" It's the way he sings it. The most beautiful guitar work can be found at the beginning of The Image, Jason's contribution to this album.
You can also go to Onelist and join a mailing list for Adam's Revenge. Look under music, metal, and then the Adam's Revenge list should be one of the choices. It's moderated by Eric, whom I receive all my info from. :)
Already,
people have been introduced to Adam's Revenge.

But you should know that most of what I know is from the mailings from Eric and the updates he does on his band's status. I just like the songs I've heard and think other people should check them out.
